SALES

The price charged will be the price ruling at the time of delivery. Where this is at variance with the price quoted at the time the goods were ordered the Customer will be advised prior to delivery.

Where account facilities have been granted to the Customer, all invoices must be paid within 30 days of invoice date.

Where no such facilities have been granted, payment will be with order or where previously agreed, on delivery.

Overdue accounts may be subject to interest charges, calculated on a weekly basis at a rate of 5%.

All times quoted or stated for delivery are approximate only.

Prices shown include VAT at the current rate. Delivery charges will be applied upon checkout.

AV Works Ltd liability for any defect in the equipment shall be limited to and in no case exceed any manufacturer’s warranty sold with the equipment.

HIRES

The duration of hire shall be calculated as the number of days between the delivery or collection of the equipment. Delivery and collections can also be arranged at weekends.

"Per Day" incorporates the usage of hired equipment for one day only - delivery / collection of equipment may be made the same day, one day before or one day after.

"Per Week" incorporates the usage of hired equipment for 5 consecutive days - delivery / collection of equipment may be made the same day, one day before or one day after.

Equipment is offered for hire on the strict understanding that the hirer remains responsible for the equipment until it is received or collected by AV Works.

The hirer to take adequate insurance against all losses, theft and damages.

Loss or damage to equipment will be charged in addition to the hire charges. The hirer agrees to pay AV Works Ltd the full retail cost of any equipment lost, stolen, or damaged beyond economic repair (without deduction for usage wear, tear or age).

The Customer shall insure the goods against the above liability.

The Customer is fully responsible for care, safe-keeping and return in good order of the equipment.

Orders for equipment hire should be confirmed in writing by the hirer, prior to the period of hire.

Non-account holders will be required to pay for the hire in full, before the hire period, and will also be required to produce adequate personal identification.

Overdue accounts may be subject to interest charges, calculated on a weekly basis at a rate of 5%.

Where a hire is cancelled, partial charges may be made as follows:

Within 24-48 hours of the start of the hire – 20% of the hire cost.

Less than 24 hours of the start of the hire – 40% of the hire cost.

Additional charges accrue at the full daily hire rate together with consequential loss in the event of the breach of these conditions or the equipment not being available for use by other customers.

The hirer to ensure that everyone who uses the equipment has been properly instructed in its safe and proper operation and will not allow the equipment to be misused.

Any breakdown or unsatisfactory working of equipment to be immediately notified to AV Works Ltd.

AV Works Ltd shall not be liable for any loss other than that which directly arises from any injury to persons or damage to tangible property where and only to the extent that such injury or damage is caused by the negligence of AV Works Ltd.

Any electrical equipment should be used with plugs and/or sockets as fitted.

The Customer shall be responsible at all times to arrange a proper supply of electricity for use with the equipment and ensure the equipment shall at all times be properly earthed.

Prices exclude VAT and delivery charges.
