About the role


We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Installation Engineer to join our team. The role will see the successful candidate working on customer sites predominantly in the North of England (Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas) with travel to projects UK-wide as necessary. The role involves the delivery of audio visual services to a wide range of customers; our sectors of activity include public sector, corporate, education, hospitality, stadia and museums. We expect candidates to have a high-level of experience deploying video, audio, networking and control equipment within a range of environments, while maintaining exceptional customer care and attention to detail. It is paramount the successful candidate has substantial technical knowledge and an outstanding customer-facing attitude.

The following experience & qualities are essential for this role: - A minimum of 3 years experience in an audio visual installation role - Strong technical knowledge of audio visual systems and cabling infrastructure - Adept soldering, crimping & terminating skills and overall high-level of workmanship - Experience in troubleshooting, creative fault-finding and preventative measures - Concise reporting on daily activities for submission to project managers - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Attention to detail and driven to work to the highest quality standards - Positive customer-facing attitude, representing the company image and brand standard - Exceptional organisation and time-management, able to prioritise work under pressure The following certifications/skills are desirable, but non-essential: - CTS Accredited - IPAF & PASMA Certified - CSCS / ECS Card Holder - Experience of AV Control & Automation Systems - Experience of Lighting Systems & Controllers - Experience of LAN/WLAN & Network Topology All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full and clean UK driving license, up to date passport and be willing/able to travel both within the UK and overseas when required. Applicants must be fluent in English.
